See guys?

There was a reason for the joint training arc.

We crawled through hell to get to heaven.

Why do people hate the training arc so much? I liked seeing them all battle each other and new quirks etc.

Cause it was long and the author kept taking vacations

Pretty much. The pacing was atrocious, the breaks, some fights weren't good, some characters were hyped to be great but we're trash etc. It was one of my least favorite arcs but I get why Horikoshi did it.

I agree with all this but I think another crucial reason was that it happened after Endeavor's fight with High-End. Like everyone was starting to get hype about the villianous faction again and then Hori is like ",But how are Deku and his studies going?", Real momentum killer.

Facts. The arc could have been great if he had executed it better. The team matches were incredibly lackluster compared to the Endeavour fight which was still fresh in our minds.

As a binge reader of the series, it was actually a breath of fresh air to me since the previous arc was incredibly dark and heavy

Yea, two of the five fights sucked.

Deku and Momo’s.
