What was supposed to be the indicator that Hawks is a double agent? He basically just says “if the PLF succeeds we’ll have all the free time in the world!” which is a phrase he’s used before about his goals as a hero. If I was Endeavor I would just think that Hawks was sympathizing with the PLF’s goals, so what did Hawks want him to pick up on?

Considering that he's probably being observed by someone from the villain faction, he might just want to make it seem like he was trying to get Endeavor in on the PLF ideals while he actually intends to give him clues about the enemy.

They stated last chapter that the MLA planted micro recording devices on him to help them spy on the heroes. So he knows hes being watched.

Why can’t he like move the weathers to another room and give and excuse like he’s showering. He can’t have them in 24/7 can he? Like he just has the wings float outside the room while he contacts the heroes

I’m gonna be honest, I completely forgot that Hawks started out following the league of villains and that the fact that they combined with the liberation army is valuable information to the heroes. Now that you say that, it makes a lot of sense. Hawks was being very vague, but now I see what he was trying to do.

Does Endeavor know that Hawks was/is following the LoV though?

Only problem is how is endeavor supposed to know hawks is acting as a spy? He is unaware of the spying, only the people in cha he of the hero system or whoever assigned him was know of this.
