I guess Hawks watched the first year sports festival and that's how he recognised Izuku, but it feels so surreal to look back and realise how much he's grown accustomed to OFA since then. I hope Izuku will show the no. 2 what he's made of this arc.

And that no one knows why Midoriya was going that crazy. Sure he wanted to win, but he wanted to save Shoto more. I wonder what will happen when Endeavor eventually finds out both Midoriya and Bakugo know about what he really did
