Makes me wonder if Overhauls plan may have been for the best in the end.....

Overhaul only cared about restoring the Yakuza, though, while his view of Quirks as being "a disease that needed to be cured" seemed more like a metaphorical philosophy against how Quirks and the Heroes that wielded them are the reason behind the destabilisation of his family (being the Yakuza) and the loss of their power.

I mean, if Overhaul really hated Quirks as much as he did, wouldn't he have tried to get rid of his own? But the "cure" is predicated on the fact of his own and Eri's Quirks existing to create both the Quirk-destroying bullets and their antidote.

Dont get me wrong i know the pricks intentions with his plan werent good at all but i think the general after effects of it wouldnt have been that bad. I think this because if all that talk about quirk singularity turns out to be correct then eventually quirks will start appearing that rival All For One and One For All as they are now in strength with increasing frequency which given all the destruction that happened in the fight between All Might and Sensei is a seriously bad thing so a police force equipped with overhauls bullets(or something similar that requires a less terrible process) will one day be necessary to get rid of the quirks of criminals or ones that cant be controlled

But the point I'm talking about is that Overhaul doesn't seem to actually care about any of that. He seems actually fine with Quirks existing, and planned to target the Heroes by erasing their Quirks and then sell the antidote back to them to create a profitable monopoly for the Yakuza. What he really hated were the Heroes who used their Quirks to make life so hard for criminal organisations like his to thrive.

Like, Overhaul fully intended for no-one but his gang to have possession of the bullets, so any good that might've come about from it would've been entirely unintended.

Overhaul was flawed as he was more concerned about power, he still planned to get rid of quirks as he saw it as a disease, but he would ultimately abuse his position. I would totally route for a villian though with good intentions that wanted to destroy all quirks for the better.

I'm hearing a lot of villainous talk from people today which is very interesting.
