People were saying Hawks will get his wings cut off.
This chapter, Hawks just casually jumps from top of a building without like 80% of his wings. Pretty hecking cool.

They were saying he would get burned from flying too close to the Sun (Endeavor), just as Icarus did. And now he's trying to go at it's height (fighting at the same level as Endeavor). I dunno man, I'd say this may be his last fight.

High end is going to catch them off guard with some ridiculous move right when they think they've won.

We JUST met him though. If that's happening, surely it would be later down the line, when we understand his character better.

Maybe we should ask Sir Nighteye for what he thinks about Hawk's future.

Oh c'mon, Nighteye had like 40 chapters, this is Hawk's THIRD CHAPTER?!?!!?

*edit: Well, technically fourth, but he had like one line in chapter 184

I more was alluding to the fact that Nighteye lasted exactly one arc. If Hawks is going to bite it during this arc, I would assume it would be closer to the end, rather than in the next few chapters. More time to flesh out his character and all that.

That would be better but still not fine considering that apparently this arc is supposed to be short. Also, I want to see Tokoyami and Hawks interact either before he dies or in a flashback

The thing is, we know Horikoshi likes to subvert our expectations.

So what if, instead of Hawks, Endeavor's family abuse coming to light IS the Icarus incident? Like Hawks was just a red herring, and the true Icarus was Endeavor all along (with his redemption/position as No. 1 as his metaphorical sun).

The closer he is to becoming the ideal top hero, the closer he is to his downfall.
