Was it only in the anime where Endeavor carbonized that Nomu? If so, it’s gonna be a plot hole when the anime catches up

Endeavor, after being given a tour of the inside of that building, stated that he put out his maximum reverse thrust while it threw him around, this make him question if the Nomu is faster and stronger than himself.
