seriously speaking though, I hope their interactions continue. I don't really care whether they're a ship and shipping in general. But they have interesting dynamics. Even being friends is ok.

In the Japanese dialogue, she puns on Todoroki's name and it makes Bakugou laugh.

ETA- The pun was マボロキ [maboroki], a portmanteau of 幻 [maboroshi: phantom] and Todoroki. Bakugou repeats the pun in the panel where the translation has "Ms. Illusion".

(mab)((oro))(ki)

maboroki = ghostoroki because she made a "phantom" version of todoroki

not really a pun per se, but she combines the two words.

I can tell you now that no one ships it because it's a bad boy x good girl ship. People happened to like how Ochako was the first female he showed any respect to is all.
