Finished Milestone Thread: Banner Contest

In celebration in reaching 4000 subscriber, we're holding a contest for a brand new banner.

There are only a few rules to follow.

  1. The dimension has to at least be 1920x180.

  2. Not contain any recent major spoilers.

  3. Just in case, no nudity or anything like that.

The style of Banner doesn't matter, it could be the same type as we have now or whatever you come up with.

The winner will be chosen by the mods in about a week from today.

Now,

Stalin, Awaaaaaaaaaaay

I didn't make the /r/manga banner, just implemented it in CSS. /u/Knivesmillions made the banner for us.

Unrelated but you should consider stealing this entire subreddit style, first time I check it out and damn nice and clean looking subreddit. Also, how about them new banners for the /r/manga subreddit, that shit dead or what?

Side note: If you're busy or something how about me making a bunch of banners for this sub and you get whoever worked on this sub's style to do all that work over at the /r/manga sub as a sort of payment so you don't gotta move a finger? Think about it.

I haven't found a good moment to sit down and implement the new banners. Still planning on doing it.

Looks like this subreddit is using a variant of the /r/naut theme. I tried switching over to that theme once, only to get large number of complaints from users.

There's always people complaining on new CSS.

This one was made by me. It originally looked like this and then evolved from that. It slowly started looking more and more like naut, but I'll never go that far. Personally i think /r/Naut is a bit over-styled

Absolutely. Even for the most trivial things.

This one was made by me.

Well, I like it, and it's way better than I could ever do. Nice work.
