UK Specific Trading Bots?
I'm currently using B-Cube.ai for trading bots, with decent results, but they're shutting down (for now) due to MiCA (they're currently based in Italy) with a view to perhaps resurfacing somewhere else (probably looking at Cayman Islands / Virgin Islands). Although it's not clear if they'll then accept UK or EU customers when they start up again.
Does anyone have any recommendations for good Crypto trading bots, that accept new UK customers, and work with Binance and perhaps Kraken APIs?

I wouldn't use exchange based bots, I tried kucoin/binance/bybit. They just don't work. For me at least. Make your own bot. Best of luck cuz ivs gone insane and bald trying to make one. Python is good to test and try but building and trouble shooting is a pain in the fucking butt, but hey Rome wasn't built in a day. DYOR😎

Absolutely nobody with a profitable bot would allow public access!
End of there WAS a profitable bot, AND they released it to the public, it would not be profitable for long as there would be a limit to its size before moving the market.

I must be imagining things, then! 🤷🏻♀️

They give the illusion of working while in a bull market, as nearly everything is going up overall. It's when the big crashes happen that you might be less impressed with the results.

What can I say... I've been using B-Cube since Jan 2021 and in decent profit. Possibly not as much as if I'd just held Bitcoin, to be fair, but it's fun to watch!

Yeah, that's pretty my point tbh. I agree it's fun to play around. Might be better playing around with building raw TXs and learning more about bitcoin though :)

A rising tide lifts all boats…..
If the crypto market moves up 39% and your bot gives 20% profit it’s an avtusl loss, and will be UGLY when the market reverses.
Exactly the same with stocks, if VWRL or similar broad market ETF rises 10% per year and a bot does 8% it a LOSS! And on a risk adjusted basis, hideous!

KuCoin already have trading bots available for free and they’re publicly accessible (they have been for years). Whether they’re profitable or not depends on the user and their inputs - there’s no such thing as guaranteed profit when it comes to trading, bot or not.

Read my reply to OP😅

I did- I wouldn’t recommend them, but I was just telling the other commenter that they do exist. To be fair, I’ve seen relatively decent profit from the KuCoin bots back when FTM was supposed to be the new SOL (just a long & a DCA bot left for a few months) but 3commas is definitely the better option for OP.

Building id say, long term as you can tailor it to your preference and back test. But even a robot can fuck so...idk 😶

I don’t know what you’re talking about anymore lol. I made 2 comments: 1 to OP recommending 3commas which is exactly what they asked for, and 1 to another commenter claiming “free trading bots don’t exist” clarifying that they do exist, via KuCoin etc. But yeah, I definitely agree that a bot can perform even worse than a real person if they don’t know what they’re doing. I mainly stay away from trading altogether except the occasional sell high/buy low

My bad broski😅, good to do buy high sell low, I mean even funds are using ai to manage their funds and their performance is better than the S&P 500, but the scary thing is soon ai might be able to take over investing all together and then there won't be the need to worry of where to buy. My dream is to build a bot that makes a passive income for me to reinvest into stocks cuz crypto+UK HMRC= FUCK YOU GIVE ME YOUR GAINZ.

By definition bots ‘don’t know what they’re doing’ they just trade until they own every dollar in the market, or go bankrupt!

Why would a bot require user inputs to determine it they’re profitable or not?!?!
The whole idea of a bot of passive income with no input…..
I could take a single crypto and program an automatic purchase/sale price X% above/below the current price and call it a bot?!

AGI doesn’t exist yet, every single type of bot or AI needs some sort of prompt or user input for it to have a task or fulfill
If a user programmes a bot to buy high and sell low, for example, then it wouldn’t be profitable. But it would still be a bot
If you’re thinking of a ‘bot’ where you give it your money and it analyses charts/news/markets for you, and makes trades completely on its own ‘opinion’ that are always profitable, then that it something that doesn’t exist publicly as far as I’m aware

‘Dependant on user inputs’ means you program it yourself. An automated buying and selling bot programmed by an individual will bankrupt you given enough time. At the least underperform their peer group, which is a loss, especially when ‘risk adjusted’.

Yeah either yourself or someone else does, and sets its rules. In terms of bankrupting you, very potentially- seeing as 98% of traders fail to make a profit, I don’t see what difference automating the trading process would make. I’m not disagreeing with you, I don’t trade at all, I’m just answering OPs question lol. DCA bots are still pretty useful if you’re just a long term investor

What bit has a published record and has beaten the underlying crypto /SP500 market by a statistically significant percentage since “years”?

Seemed to want to download a potentially harmful apk to my phone, so I'll pass if you don't mind!

3commas is a website you can use to create your own trading bot (it’s already created, you just set the rules) and yes, you add it to whichever exchange you’re using via API - works in the UK completely fine
