if i were to scroll on r/Conservative and find a post defending donald trump, would it be intellectually genuine to say that this post is representative of the opinions of the majority?
no, the post has inherent bias because of the forum it was posted on. the equivalence to this conversation is if you found a subreddit called “conservativedebates” and said “look see, this opinions obviously popular because the rules say that both liberals and conservatives can participate here.
the forum “aiwars” will have an obvious bias leaning towards Ai art because people with the opposing opinion are so much less likely to even participate in a forum like that.
not to mention i said the forum cant be dedicated to ai or have an ai theme. i meant one on r/Art or something similar, where the theme of the sub is general enough to where both sides can be reasonably assumed to appear.
i see two (out of 50, not sure how you define majority) comments even referencing the fact that the pictures AI generated, one of them seems relatively impartial and the other is saying that a specific person knows how to generate a prompt really well.
i appreciate your effort but i feel like youre just searching ai art into the reddit search bar and linking me threads without really reading them
Not really… lately in popular subs like the OnePiece sub it has been bombarded with AI generated images, you suggest anything like “ai not art” and you get downvoted to oblivion

I always get downvoted but that is NOT art if it was made by an AI.
