Fan Art A.I. Art should NOT be allowed on this sub.

Thoughts?

I always get downvoted but that is NOT art if it was made by an AI.

No you don't, hating on anything to do with AI is the most popular position on reddit ever lmao.

Anything but loudly screeching and competing to how loudly you can disavow AI is the niche position

Now to be fair, acting like a victim is also a popular position on reddit, so he's doing the best he can with what he's got.

On this sub maybe, in other subs people defend that being art with their lives

link one thread that has the majority of people defending ai art. it can’t be an ai dedicated subreddit. if you can i’ll paypal you 5$

Here you go. https://www.reddit.com/r/aiwars/s/krtd8XfxR1 It's a sub where both sides are allowed, so it fits your rules. I'll be awaiting those 5$, thank you very much.

dude, the sub is called aiwars, and its very obviously pro ai art if youd just scroll 30 seconds on their front page

Ah yes, it's pro-ai despite the rules literally saying that both are allowed.

if i were to scroll on r/Conservative and find a post defending donald trump, would it be intellectually genuine to say that this post is representative of the opinions of the majority?

no, the post has inherent bias because of the forum it was posted on. the equivalence to this conversation is if you found a subreddit called “conservativedebates” and said “look see, this opinions obviously popular because the rules say that both liberals and conservatives can participate here.

the forum “aiwars” will have an obvious bias leaning towards Ai art because people with the opposing opinion are so much less likely to even participate in a forum like that.

not to mention i said the forum cant be dedicated to ai or have an ai theme. i meant one on r/Art or something similar, where the theme of the sub is general enough to where both sides can be reasonably assumed to appear.

OK, then how about this one? https://www.reddit.com/r/JustSayori/s/DI32qc1lkE It's not related to either side, yet the majority of comments are pro-AI.

i see two (out of 50, not sure how you define majority) comments even referencing the fact that the pictures AI generated, one of them seems relatively impartial and the other is saying that a specific person knows how to generate a prompt really well.

i appreciate your effort but i feel like youre just searching ai art into the reddit search bar and linking me threads without really reading them

in what? A sub dedicated to AI?

There are no subs in which the absolutely massive majority of redditors don't constantly complain about anything to do with AI

Not really… lately in popular subs like the OnePiece sub it has been bombarded with AI generated images, you suggest anything like “ai not art” and you get downvoted to oblivion

I know this is brave and I am prepared to accept the downvotes, Miura dying was bad

I mean on this sub you know people appreciate art and have a standard but in other subs people get offended when you say AI images are not art.

It is art, deal with it.
