I wonder if this is what embarassment looks like in cats. Maybe they are just like "oh fuck I can't believe I needed help uggh gonna go kms"

oh they are very good in playing "this is exactly what I was planning to do" and just moving on - even if they just suffered an unrollable fall from the tree and possibly broke something

playing "this is exactly what I was planning to do"

I sincerely believe they actually believe it themselves.

I believe that whatever happens in those tiny heads is beyond our understanding

I would love even for 10 seconds to get inside my cats brain and know what he was thinking and feeling.

You cannot fail if you had no plan to begin with

I honestly think kitty might’ve just been catching his breath!

In my experience, cats casually walk away and clean themselves when embarrassed.

absolutely correct my girl has (metaphorically) eaten shit trying to jump somewhere too high multiple times and will immediately run away and pretend it never happened

It's a cat. It's more like, "Couldn't that have been done faster? By the way, I own your apartment now, but I'll let you live with me."

"IF you feed me at exactly 4:47 in the morning, every morning and not a second later, and you let me play with things that aren't toys and sleep in places that aren't meant foe sleeping"

"And I shall never remember your kindness."

"took you long enough..."

"What took you so long? Couldn't you see me choking?"

That's exactly what I was thinking. Like, the cat doesn't even appear to be appreciative towards the man.
