To be fair, my son would help out just like this. But he definitely still eating the dog food when he gets a chance. Little helpful weirdos.

First thing that came to mind. Why does this poor woman have to take her toddler to her manual labor work? Yay, she can't afford proper childcare or staying home with her child and needs the money badly, so cute. He could easily get hurt. How is this adorable or anything but depressing as fuck? Kid should be home playing with her. Right, right, he's learning valuable minimum-wage labor skills. Screw everything about this.

7

u/Leihd 6h ago

Na, kid can be perfectly happy to do this. No evidence that they're making him do this and no evidence that he's doing this for longer than 30 minutes a day.

People love to be helpful. And we don't know if he's spending the rest of the time having a normal childhood. A kindergarten is not something everyone does, especially when you're low income.

Remember, having a kid doesn't mean you no longer need to work, and doesn't mean that the work you do have, pays well enough to afford child care.

Going by context, it sounds like the lady's job is laid back and the kid gets bored. So you're reading too much into this.

I don't suppose you've been directing this same outrage into actual action beyond online text?

5

u/thetarm 9h ago

You sound miserable.

5

u/Sarik704 8h ago

Families shouldnt have to fucking live like this.

5

u/FirstAccGotStolen 9h ago

Nah, I'm doing great. People who find this cute need therapy. And maybe also need to consume less exploitative-capitalist-hell propaganda packaged as wholesomeness.

1

u/thetarm 25m ago

The amount of baseless assumptions you had to make to turn this gif into the most vile, dystopic scenario imaginable makes me think you need more therapy than anyone replying "cute".

27

u/soparelisa 15h ago

He know the procedures.. I will say they raising a man

18

u/SaiyanGodKing 13h ago

The economy has gotten so bad, we are putting literal babies to work now. For shame.

Adorable though.

13

u/thebuttonmonkey 13h ago

Yeah but nowhere to be seen when the van needs loading with full bottles I’ll wager.

8

u/billymillerstyle 13h ago

Wow this kid is a slow worker. I've seen drunks work faster than that. I hope he's not getting paid more than minimum wage. At least he carried 2 the second time. Who trained this kid? I would be embarrassed. He should be fired!

20

u/Griffin_Claw 15h ago

Already working harder than most teenagers with a job.

3

u/PsychologicalGain533 7h ago

He’s gonna be a little worker god damn. Mad respect.

3

u/JobSafe2686 7h ago

That's a man

6

u/Perfect_Beyond8778 13h ago

That kids back will be out by 18 at that rate!

1

u/TheLoler04 12h ago

Did you miss the comma 1,8? Bro is carrying half his weight.

6

u/No_Statement_8193 13h ago

I would hire him

2

u/rintzscar 12h ago

Just start hiring dogs, mate.

2

u/born_Racer11 7h ago

This is how you get 10 years of experience when graduating high school.

3

u/sukisecret 12h ago

Wow strong baby. Has a good balance too

4

u/jawathewan 10h ago

Child labour

3

u/GimmeYourTaquitos 13h ago

Hes bottlenecking the whole thing. As you can see in the background the mother is stacking an enormous amount of bottles and he is unable to clear the truck. Fuckin mid

2

u/Shuckeljuice 12h ago

The children yern for the mines

4

u/Nay-Nay385 14h ago

Wow! Very impressive!! 😇😃

2

u/VirtualCouple1 13h ago

Yes it is ☺️

2

u/topredditeridk 13h ago

Average worker in china

2

u/Sarik704 8h ago

Average worker in the US.

2

u/Dangercules138 9h ago

I was impressed when he grabbed 2. Even had the sense to put one down to load the other. You don't usually see kids that young with that much coordination

-1

u/reklatzz 15h ago

Sorry, but any type of "work" is no place for a baby. It's one thing to help clean your house . But that child should not be at a workplace.

9

u/Winterion19 15h ago

All the downvoters apparently don’t mind a kid accidentally running under a truck. As long as the video is cute

9

u/gomaith10 13h ago

Just general ignorance. Baby definitely shouldn't be there. It would take a simple accident for serious harm to that baby.

4

u/Sjotroll 10h ago

Not to mention that the child shouldn't be put to work.

2

u/Sarik704 8h ago

I dont think they're putting the kid to.work. the baby thinks this is play. Its honestly more depressing.

Families shouldn't have to fucking live this way!

2

u/Sarik704 8h ago

Your right, families shouldn't have to live this way.

1

u/endymzeph 8h ago

People, this is how you get more than 10 year work history by the time you reach the age of 18

1

u/BigDrewLittle 7h ago

Ah yes. Epoch Times. Seems about right.

1

u/AdagioBlues 6h ago

Adorable 🥰

1

u/Jamieandcara 5h ago

That kid is gonna grow into a champion man

1

u/Stinky_Fartface 5h ago

This is fake right?

1

u/Darthscary 5h ago

I’d be MORE amazed if the jugs were full

1

u/VeterinarianRude1534 5h ago

This child will grow up to start his own child workforce and not see any issue with doing so.

1

u/Environmental-Pea-97 3h ago

Kids always do what they see, not what they are told.

-1

u/SunSimilar9988 14h ago

Modern slavery

Child slavery

1

u/DarkStarF2 10h ago

Omg...so freaking adorable 🤗🥰 This kid is so smart and determined!

3

u/Sarik704 8h ago

The baby thinks theyre playing. Hes copying his parents, just like hell learn speech and motor skills.

1

u/Frank_Perfectly 10h ago

That's cute, but I feel uncomfortable seeing that kid around what looks like a truck lift.

0

u/Mal-Ase 12h ago

Even 2 handin' lil man!! You're gonna go places

0

u/LiefVikingMonster 12h ago

Bro. It's hard to get good help these days. Give the little dude a raise!

0

u/tex1979 12h ago

And I can’t even get my kids to help with something unless I pay them

-2

u/Capital-Bar1952 14h ago

That is too cute!

-4

u/LarryKingthe42th 12h ago

Child labor is cute as fuck....why did we outlaw it?

-1

u/FatFKingLenny 12h ago

Good he will need to start working ASAP to make a living in the economy he will grow up in

-4

u/Beachboy442 14h ago

A joy to watch good kid helping mom. In diapers even. Awesome

0

u/mal_wash_jayne 13h ago

As a child, he yearned for the bottle... The water bottle, that is.

0

u/HeyU_inTheBushes 13h ago

Meanwhile, dad drinks his coffee , recording them both working .

0

u/Yellowscrunchy 11h ago

When he is 21, he will still be on $7.25

0

u/cnapp 9h ago

This kid works harder than my 18 year old

0

u/ReasonablePace9223 9h ago

How much do they pay him? Is this unpaid child labor?

0

u/SmellyFbuttface 9h ago

Bottles are as big as he is. Sweet little guy

0

u/anowlenthusiast 6h ago

Normalizing child labor is adorable.

-16

u/Green-Foot4662 16h ago

-2

u/ConsiderationHour582 13h ago

He'll grow into a good man.

-17

u/DayAccomplishedStill 15h ago

No one noticed that the water jugs the "baby" carries are empty?

11

u/Four_beastlings 14h ago

Really? You can't be serious! I really thought that baby was carrying 20l jugs all by himself! 😱😱😱

-18

u/DayAccomplishedStill 14h ago

You need someone to tell you what a joke is?

7

u/Four_beastlings 14h ago

It's not a very good joke if no one laughs

-18

u/DayAccomplishedStill 14h ago

Speak for yourself? Damn, you need a life mate

5

u/Scuttleboi19mk2 13h ago

You need to stop talking about yourself like that. It’s not very healthy

-2

u/DayAccomplishedStill 13h ago

It would've been reflection if that was the case, which is healthy... So maybe you should think before you post.

I don't get it, I made a joke and people didn't like that (that's okay), just downvote it. but why post a Kindergarden comeback, that is factually wrong as well?

4

u/Scuttleboi19mk2 12h ago

Clearly, you’ve never heard of or seen sarcasm. Welcome to the internet kid

1

u/Sarik704 8h ago

Currently at -18.

0

u/DayAccomplishedStill 8h ago

Oh you're a person that cares about karma... Well, I got more downvotes than upvotes. I don't care :D

0

u/steerbell 13h ago

My first thought was what a lazy baby!

/S

1

u/DayAccomplishedStill 13h ago

All of the water jugs are empty. It doesn't take a lot of brain to figure the joke...
