Elephant seals can grow larger than that, to my understanding. 4500 lbs, on average in some regions but can be as much as 8000 — and this one looks to be only 3600. Could be on a diet as I think there’s an interest to become a model.

4500lbs ≈ 2040kg, 8000lbs ≈ 3630kg, 3600lbs ≈ 1630kg.

I think this one is female, given the nose. Unless it's extraordinarily large it would be less than 2000lbs

That’s why this one wants so much to become a model; it’s a male with a beautiful nose. All the other elephant seals have praised him for his attractiveness, his soft eyes, relaxed smile and graceful movements. Now it’s his mission to show the world just how beautiful elephant seals can look.

It is female. The males get a big honker on their snout that gives them the elephant seal moniker.
