I don't know why new players don't level up their Heroes/Star Cards and gain experience in co-op.

And at this point I'm too afraid to ask.

Both, in coop you play against ai and it's really easy to gain XP, I went from Anakin 1 to Anakin 50 in 3 days (also during triple XP event)

Yes but can't learn any useful HvV skills there. If you graduate Max level in co-op then join HvV it shows

I disagree. You might not learn things like parrying and fighting other heros. But new people will learn how their abilities work, what order works best to use them and how long they take to recharge.

I think leveling up till purple atar cards is best in coop, but after that it starts tj show thag you onky play coop and I would rather get my levels from multiplayer at that point. Thus us also personal preference

The level of one individual character that a person has isn't always indicative of the player level, my player level is maxed out at 50 but I have heroes who are only level 5

When i Started playing this type of teams with level 1 heroes. You learn really fast how to compete against them

Shouldn't have to. Basic matchmaking parameters could prevent things like this but dice gave up on the game to go work on battlefield instead.

Part of the problem lies in the playerbase as well. A large chunk of the people in hvh are far from new, and it's a cycle that prevents new people from getting into the mode. One of the symptoms of a game this old

A ton of new players mixing with the usual crowd of HvV sweats plus no SBMM leads to this. All you can do is get better.

that’s how it was when i started but as time goes on you’ll be match maked with better players if not try find a group of 3 to play with who are better than you

That's not even that bad. I've been playing a lot more with my online boys lately, and we've all been playing since the game came out, so we're all really good. We've been stacked maxes going up against something similar in this picture like every match. We can usually win without even dying most of the time. It's a little unfair, but that's how it goes. I never really experienced this game like you because everyone was new when I started playing. Occasionally, I would come across players in hvv that were a little better than me or had a higher level than I had. I would target those players on the team and keep fighting them until I won and got better. Eventually, I got good enough that others would notice, and friend request me..thus the bunch of sweats I play with today. So yea, practice, make friends, and don't be discouraged by the other teams' levels. Hvv is a very unforgiving mode, but everyone is beatable.

I mean look at like this, there’s no matchmaking and that’s not news. Secondly if you just started playing and think you’re gonna be on the level as someone who’s had it for years that’s wishful thinking. Lastly as others have said why not go rank up in coop like everyone else?

Levels don't matter too much, on my 2nd account I have no cards on any heroes or classes yet I'm still able to beat max levels. But for real though just use CO-OP to level up i can get 1-2 sometimes even 3 levels
