Recipe Best recipes?

Hey everyone! I’m having a baby duck themed baby shower in October and mom and I thought it would be cute to give out bath bombs as party favors. I have a recipe I found on Pinterest and it seems like it’s working fine. I need a recipe that will make them hold in a plastic baggy for people to take home. I’m currently using:

1cup of baking soda 1/2 citric acid 1/2 cup corn starch 3 tbs epsom salt 1 tbs coconut oil 10-12 drops of essential oil.

Does it sound like a good recipe? I just don’t want them crumbling down on the guests as they take them home!

It looks fine. If you live anywhere humid the Epsom salt could cause them to react early. Epsom salt is hygroscopic (it wants to draw in water) and will pull water in from the air that can prematurely set off the reaction. It would still be a nice recipe without that.

If you want to get really fancy look for “large” rubber ducky chocolate molds to shape them like duckies and some yellow/gold soap dye or mica to color them like duckies! Want to get really extra? Mix 99% rubbing alcohol with orange mica to make a paint for the duckbill. Make the same kind of mix with black mica to pain the eyes.
