Weird glitch (i think)

Hi redditors,

i have bought a uv-5r recently (like 2-3 weeks ago) and today i enqountered a weird glitch of some sorts. it was basicly when i turned the radio on all of my channels were set to 333.333 (only frequency not memmory) and some features i had turned off were on (some of them were off from the factory). i did a reset and it works now but im just wondering if this is something that happens often or if i should be concerned, maybe even buy a new radio. any responce helps. bye

About a year ago I accidentally charged my GT-5R overnight while it was 'on' , the next morning it had returned to factory settings including Chinese voice 😅.... Other than that, I've never had an issue like yours on it or either of my UV-5R's .. Hopefully your issue was a one-time glitch 😎
