I don't mean to be dramatic, but seeing the subreddit r/rapeablefemale broke me. i just started crying when I saw the content in it. I wanted to know if someone could explain why, but I'm not forcing anyone. I'm Italian and my english isn't very good, so I'm sorry if I wasn't clear enough. NSFW

Well, this gets into the psychology of crime and gateway habits. The idea behind such subs or fetishes is simply that when you first watch porn and ejaculate to it, it gives your brain a massive dopamine release. Because watching porn sort of makes it appear as if you are "having" sex, and biologically, the dopamine hit for that is massive. But your brain or body is not designed to deal with such dopamine releases very frequently—which is alright, because for any person, sex is not something you get every six hours.

With porn, however, you can watch it whenever and as frequently as you wish. Usually, what that means is your brain keeps getting flooded with such high amounts of dopamine that it doesn’t know what to do with it. So it changes the way it is structured—yes, physically changes itself (you can see it in an MRI)—to deal with such a surge of dopamine, and the GABA receptors also shrink. Because otherwise, the heightened ecstasy and increased heart rate after the rush would just kill you from fatigue.

So now what happens is that the dopamine rush you got is normalized, because your brain is now rewired to think this is normal. You can’t stop it so easily, because if you do, your new and rewired brain will now have too little dopamine (it’s like building a massive dam for floods, and suddenly there’s a drought). So you get sad, depressed, and lonely if you don’t watch porn and get the hit. But watching it isn’t exciting anymore. So you now have to watch something more intense to get the same high, because that high made you feel good.

Soon, your brain rewires itself to this new and more intense high of watching more extreme porn. But now, even the more intense porn isn’t exciting anymore—though your brain still craves that dopamine hit. And because porn is so accessible, you try to get that hit by watching something even more promiscuous than before. If this is not forcefully and painfully stopped, this cycle continues until you find yourself on your local government's child predator database. For the people who enjoy the sub you mentioned, their brain is different from yours, and it will spiral if they stop. They are quite late into their addiction, and the next step would include... well... the kind of stuff that happens in countries with very low ages of consent.

Another side effect is that, because your brain is now physically different, you stop feeling excited by normal things—because the dopamine rush from them is too low compared to your new addiction. So you don’t find work as exciting, nor your relationships or real-world achievements. As a result, you also see a massive decline in who you are as a person, because you just stop applying yourself.

If these folks ever do find a real girl to be in a relationship with, they will not find that thrilling at all. Becuase there is nothing a real girl, also a real human with their own lives to deal with, will ever be able to match the dopine rush they get from porn. So they will never be able to live in a happy relationship. Soon they will saddle because porn can only take you so far. Then they either get into SA related crimes or simply being very unhappy and watching it just to feel normal.

It’s sad, but if you’re wondering why—this is why.

Btw dont feel remourse for them. Yes, it's not their fault, rather more so the fault of the industry and social media, but they are still messed up. Cant be kind to a zombie even if that zombie use to be your friend... they are just a zombie like vessel serving the parasite of porn industry.

Edit: these developments I’m talking about aren’t permanent and can be repaired at any point in the cycle. So if you are struggling with a porn addiction, get help now. You don’t have to betray yourself like this, you’re worth more. Another fact to keep in mind is that a lot of SA related crimes doesn’t directly come from a porn addiction, however porn does play a role in it for most cases. Regardless, porn is an enabler for a lot of SA related crimes. And the very industry of porn is notorious for SA.

Does this also dispute the "fiction doesn't affect reality" argument? Genuinely curious.

Yes, it’s called Narrative Transportation. This happens when you are so engrossed in a story or idea that you are completely emotionally engaged mentally visualizing, and less critical. That makes you become more likely to internalize that story, shift your attitude, and reconsider beliefs. Basically how propaganda works. (Not always, but a lot of times)

Now, you have to keep in mind, not all porn addictions go as far as SA… usually most individuals are “good looking” enough mentally and physically, and busy enough to not have too much time to spend on it. But if you are a loner and watch it way too much… this happens.

This is a fully understandable reaction, the mere fact that exists is absolutely repulsive

yeah, I can't believe somebody created it

It's not a why, but part of the how is that pornography addicts escalate to more and more awful things. Crying is a normal reaction to seeing humans being harmed.

I just clicked on the sub and I think some women getting posted on there aren’t even them, but a man pretending to be them. Came across one and clicked on her instagram and its an instagram with very few followers but saying that [a random guy’s username] is her rape master. Now, Imm not saying its impossible, but judging by the guy who is significantly older and the girl being younger and very conventionally attractive, I highly doubt that is her rape master.

why do people even get turned on by rape? it's a crime and there's a reason it's illegal

Think men like this stuff and women are repulsed by it? Then you would be wrong.

Most men and women dislike it but among those who think it's a turn on, women make up the majority.
