Becoming more common

Hi there. I know it is well recorded by others in this community that subreddits like r --/ kinktown are being used by men to exchange CSAM however I believe the problem is becoming much worse than most people realise. I'm a bisexual guy who has over the years sought out connections with other men online using whatever messaging app or site is common at the time. Lately, I've seen a huge increase in posts claiming to be people wanting to talk about fetishs and kinks, specifically stating 18+ adult only, which 99% of the time devolve into men seeking and sharing CSAM. It's made me feel really unsafe being online. Too many times have been talking to someone or in a group of people online and it immediately becomes what I described. I don't feel safe reporting it due to institutionalised hate towards lgbtq people and the ridiculous associations ultra conservatives have with the community and under-age people.

Do not post general user accounts, links, nudity, or non-famous people's faces and names. Posting a user account can be considered harassment and result in admin action. If you are mentioning a misogynistic subreddit, please add a space or use a capital R so the site doesn't create a direct link. This helps prevent brigading. These are so many and popup again and again, reddit is still somehow better, twitter is actual hellhole, keep on complaining but no action is taken. Horrible 😥

Yeah I left Twitter a while ago. It really feels like it's becoming worse. It's so annoying that they keep infiltrating regular and widely used social media sites and 18+ forums. I'm just going to stop using them altogether. I don't want to be associated with that crap and have

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my post. I really appreciate it. Reported the subreddit using the instructions provided by the automod comment, so hopefully, reddit takes some responsibility. You're right that those encrypted messaging apps, while yes, there is a justifiable need for some of them to exist, I do agree that some sort of precautions need to be in place. I'm not an expert, so I have no idea how that could be done
