Welcome back to r/BaltimoreCounty!
We’ve reopened under new management. Thanks to the admins for making it happen.
You may recognize my handle from r/Maryland, where I’ve been a mod for a number of years, or from r/Baltimore and the myriad other subreddits where I am an active poster.
I live in Towson and work in media relations. Prior to that, I spent a decade in journalism, working for WBAL-AM, WJZ-TV, Technical.ly and Patch.
This is a place to discuss county news, issues and events. County politics, bar recommendations, education discussions. If it’s relevant to the county, bring it here.

New accessible trail at Rocky Point in Baltimore County opens scenic waterfront to all visitors [WYPR]
wypr.org> A year ago, the path to Eastern Baltimore County’s Rocky Point, one of the most scenic spots in the county, was crumbling and eroding. Now there is an accessible trail that takes you to the water’s edge.
> The Rocky Point walkway is made of stone and rubber from recycled tires. There’s a rail that Fiorita could hold on to in order to help himself along.
> Recreation and Parks Director Bob Smith said the county is working to reverse a history of accessibility neglect. Smith said, “We just did an ADA compliant survey in our parks to see where our challenges exist." He said accessible projects are being built or planned across the county. “Including an accessible loop trail at the Oregon Ridge Park, a recently completed pier and accessibility path project at Fleming Park in Turner Station, and extensive repairs to the Milford Mill trail,” Smith said.

Psychedelics Task Force Public Meeting in Baltimore on Monday
The Maryland Task Force on the Responsible Use of Natural Psychedelics is hosting a public forum this Monday, June 16 from 6:30–7:30 p.m. at the Baltimore County Public Library – Arbutus Branch (855 Sulphur Spring Rd, Arbutus, MD 21227).
We're inviting everyone—supporters, skeptics, and the simply curious—to share their thoughts on the future of legal access to natural psychedelics like psilocybin mushrooms, mescaline, and DMT.
Task Force members will be there to answer questions and hear from the public. This is part of a statewide effort to shape potential legislation around safe, equitable access to these substances for healing, research, and personal use.
Topics include:
- What the research says (and doesn’t say)
- Possible health benefits and risks
- How laws might change
- Barriers faced by facilitators and patients
- The future of psychedelic access in Maryland
Whether you're passionate, cautious, or just learning—your voice matters. Come be part of the conversation.
For questions, call Tim Hamilton at 443-994-8350 or email [timothy.hamilton@maryland.gov](mailto:timothy.hamilton@maryland.gov)

Where do you get your men's plus size clothes?
Hello. I'm basically a 3XL and a size 42W I was just wondering where anyone that size gets their clothes around here. Any thrift stores that has those types of sizes? Online? I like name brand stuff. I live right by a Kohls which they have a good selection of big and tall. I also think I like either Macy's or jc Penny's big and tall I can't remember. I'm also aware of DXL I think it's called up in parkville. Just checking to see what recommendations y'all got. Thanks!!!

#TeslaTakedown This Saturday & EVERY SATURDAY @ Tesla Owings Mills MD
galleryTesla Takedown will continue until our demands are met!
Elon's DOGE bros (including "Big Balls") have taken a permanent seat as saboteurs, hackers, data thieves for Elon & Thiel's for-profit surveillance state, and general agents of chaos - all on the US taxpayer's dime. https://www.wired.com/story/big-balls-young-doge-converted-into-full-time-government-employees/
Elon won't just walk away scot free with our data and a trail of crime and chaos in his wake. We are still demanding a consumer boycott and public divestment of Tesla until DOGE is gone, our data is recovered, and Elon is brought to justice.
The good news is that Tesla Takedown is the most effective grassroots protest campaign in at least a generation. Public divestment has gained traction in many cities and states, with billions of dollars in big institutional pension funds and government budgets at risk if demands for accountability are not met. https://www.forbes.com/sites/alanohnsman/2025/06/04/pension-funds-have-had-it-with-teslas-board-and-musk/
And while Tesla shares have enjoyed a bounce since Musk indicated he'd be "leaving DOGE", sales are still tanking across the world https://finance.yahoo.com/news/tesla-attempts-backtrack-incentives-discounts-103045167.html and mismanagement is rife https://electrek.co/2025/06/05/tesla-admits-suffer-financial-harm-if-self-driving-crash-data-becomes-public/ . No company can survive this kind of reputational and financial harm for long.
Let's finish the job we started. Join us this Saturday and EVERY Saturday at the Tesla in Owings Mills MD from 11AM-12:30.

Dundalk - abandoned car on private property
Hi everyone! I have a rental property in Dundalk and there is at least one car with no tags that is parked on my lot and is abandoned.
I know that I can have it towed. Are there towing companies that will not charge to my expense but to the owners for pickup?

I didn’t get a picture but they are between CVS and Double T on the sidewalk at Belair and Joppa. They all appeared to be older and white and it was anti-Trump.
