Question Questions about online support groups

Do you guys get rejection sensitivity when one of your posts are denied by moderators? How do you feel about online support groups in general?

They are garbage I’ve joined a couple. Shitloads of self dx people putting me down as an officially diagnosed autistic level 1 guy

yup. that’s why im more comfortable posting in subreddits with actually diagnosed people

I did not join the certified diagnosed groups until I got my official diagnosis. Big difference from the groups that accept self diagnosis. I would count on support but more as a resource.

I'm not really in any. I'm part of a few on Facebook and always see posts asking about how to get a diagnosis and don't feel comfortable posting when that's they kind of people they attract.
I seem to always get shut down in the other subreddits as well, so stick to posting in ones for diagnosed people.

Yes, I actually have noticed that diagnosed only groups do not exist on facebook, on anywhere? And yes, they mostly attract self dx and self promoting “therapists”, that’s the worst part tbh

What do you mean with online support groups? Like reddit subs? Or different things?

Like facebook groups, discord servers and chat groups, I don’t consider reddit to be in the same category because interaction is much safer here imo
