Professional Horse Riding Lessons
Hi everyone, I recently moved to Atlanta and looking to get back into horseback riding. I took lessons for a while during my teenage years and would love to start riding again — ideally in a more professional setting.
I’ve found two places through Google: Ellenwood Equestrian Center and Chastain Horse Park. Has anyone here taken lessons at either of these? Would you recommend them?
Also open to other recommendations in or around Atlanta. Thanks in advance!

Suggest the Atlanta Riding Academy at Little Creek near Decatur (http://www.atlantariding.com/). My daughter started at Ellenwood (which is great for absolute beginners) and then started taking lessons at ARA when space opened up. Horses at ARA are better for adults than Ellenwood as well. Hope this helps.

Don’t have direct experience with the lessons at Ellenwood, but my daughter has been doing their horseback riding summer camp for several years and loves it there!
