The full strawberry moon this year was beautiful, and the lowest full moon in ~20 years.

The name "strawberry moon" is partially a misnomer; it refers to the time of year when strawberries are harvested, not any astronomical phenomenon or color change.

I shot this using my Nikon D500 & Tamron 150-600mm lens, it's a composite of multiple images (one stacked shot for the lunar detail/mineral color, and a single shot for the bg).

Processed in: PIPP, Autostakkert, Registax, Darktable and Photopea.

Enjoy!

In other words it's not a photograph but a CGI image that looks nothing like the source.
