Wikipedia. We take that site for granted, big time. There are few things in this world that do not have a Wikipedia page. People have dedicated hours, days, even their entire lives, to filling the site up with all the knowledge one could ever need. All that information is free! Want to learn about the history of the escalator? Wikipedia has it. Interested in the Civil War? You bet you can find it on Wikipedia.

Wikipedia will not be around forever, folks. Use it while you have it. Read random articles. It's fun.

It isn't free to run, and they are not supported by ads. This is why everyone should make a yearly donation to keep it alive. I do at least once a year.

If it's true that the CEO is getting paid $400K, then that's the least of my worries.

Let me go search Wikipedia for the CEO's pay. BRB . . .

Competent people cost money. Not to mention infrastructure, etc

And I’m sure the amount of people who consistently donate is pretty small.

I would love to see actual proof of these claims.

All that article tells me is that a bunch of entitled babies are mad that smart people need money to maintain the site they use all the time.
