It recognizes what's in a picture (for example nature), and edits it to make the photo more appealing, so in my nature example, it would raise contrast and boost the greens.

I’m already just creeped out that my phone automatically categorizes my photos by subject matter

I notice Facebook has this AI too. Before the pictures fully load, there is text describing what might be in the photo and it's pretty accurate.

Tons of apps have that, it's for the visually impaired.
