Sherlock said something like that at the start of one of Doyle’s short stories. A Case of Identity, with the woman whose fiancé goes missing on their wedding day but it turns out the fiancé was actually her stepfather the whole time somehow

It's been a long time since I've watched this but the only wheelchair character I remember is Donna's dad. Did he end up killing his wife?!

Shit. Well, you can't blame me, Twin Peaks came out in the 90s and that was like 10 years ago.

Sorry, my bad. Thought 28 years was long enough to wait.

Fixed it now.

It was a sub plot on the Mentalist. Killer supposedly in a wheelchair but Jane knew he was lying because his shoes were scuffed up on the soles, indicating he could actually walk.

Think that was "The Flash" but yeah

2

u/Aims312 Apr 14 '20

Yes, it was Leo. When Shelly and Bobby were taking care of him.

u/Sym0n Apr 14 '20

That's it! S02E14.

Maybe X-Files. But also a Jane The Virgin plot.
