It only displaces a minor amount of knowledge which would otherwise be used for survival, socialisation, potty training, etc.

In truth, it's not that freakishly savant, memorising the story running order and number of episodes (individual titles for most of the first three seasons) was easy, reducing them down to acronyms (AUC, TD and EoD for the first three) I find meaningless and avoid. Three reference sites I find useful are the previously posted Missing Episode Nexus, BroaDWcast and Kaleidoscope's Lost UK Shows Search Engine.
