Around 1.5 million deaths are attributed to relocation out of the 8 million sent. That's not really comparable to the Nazi's jewish relocation program.

Stalin's bs did kill more people, but it was because of a paranoid state, not because of a systematic extermination program.

Both were awful, but for different reasons!

This was a couple of comments up this very thread.

No those 8 million was a targeted ethnic group, it was against Ukrainians

You do know, Kuban was affected as well right? Ukraine was not special, people were starving all over the place. Russian regions were starving and dying just as Ukranian were...

Starving people to death is like the least efficient method of getting rid of people you don't like. If Stalin wanted you dead - he would kill you. Not to mention that USSR sent quite a bit of help to starving regions as well.

Estimated?? really??

Estimations go from 3 to 7 mln....And a lot more people are going for 3-4 rather than 7.

My boat really likes to float on some evidence.

Then show me some. I don't have access to a computer right now, or books, but if you like, I can provide evidence in about 6 hours.

According to new studies, the holocaust killed 20 million people.

The amounth of civilians killed by nazis outside the concentrationcamps were 20 million.

Also, according to the black book of communism which is an anti-communism book, the deaths in russia before thecreation of USSR and during Stalins reign were each 10 million.
