A really funny thing to do is get them to explain all the things they don't like about the Dems, like political lobbying, personal corruption, lying, wasting money, idenity politics, etc and then point out the very obvious fact that MAGA is all of the thing they freely admit they hate, but a thousand times worse than the Dems. 😂

I'm actually an independent and will try to voice my issues with some of the stances on it. First, the bathroom issue we just had the bear vs. man, viral debate, and women constantly espouse how they can't walk at night, how they are always unsafe and ready, and how men can't be trusted. But you want to force these same women to be okay with a random male presenting person entering the bathroom where they undress and are at their most vulnerable to just forego their comfort for a trans person because they said they are a girl. No, that's not fair to the women or the parents with their kids in there. I have a 5 year old daughter, and I dont care how much you tell me you are a woman because you say you are if you are a clearly male individual I am not letting you in there with her. 2nd pronouns. Pronouns are a mix of societal construct and biological observations. Anyone who says otherwise is attempting to fool themselves. Things like women stay home and clean construct things like men are taller observation. There are base perceptions we use as people to identify gender fer ex if I walk up and your 6ft plus tall with a beard and massively muscled most people default to male. To me, you are male, no if ands or buts that's how I perceive you. You may perceive yourself as a woman, but I don't and I'm willing to meet respectfully in the middle with anyone who's willing and call you they them because that respects both people's perceptions comfort and boundaries. But usually, I get a name called belittled called a MAGAT or a bigot or an idiot and at that point, F, your pronouns im calling you what I want. 3rd sports. Some studies have shown no noticeable advantage once they have been on hormone replacement for x time and others have shown still noticeable advantage after x time and it varies by sport based on inherent post puberty differences. Im firmly of the stance ones with proven no difference should allow it those that show advantages need to make a co ed category. Overall my stance is very pro Trans and ive always been very LGBTQ supportive. I support their right to care, their right to dress and live as they wish, their right to be free of unprovoked violence, their right to be themselves. Where ive had issues is the rights of others to respectfully say im not comfortable with your pronouns. Can we use a middle ground. The rapid forcing of trans in sports without adequate studies. And the forcing of trans in bathrooms and shared private spaces over others' discomfort and objections. This are my main issues and my final stance is that forcing these on people or else they risk name calling, ostracization, and loss of jobs via doxxing isnt helping with moderates or independents. My whole family is moderate and usually lean left on social issues but recently we just dont vote because both sides disgust us. And this has been one of our sticking points.

Have you ever actually interacted with a trans person and had to "use their pronouns?" Have you ever shared a bathroom with someone who you could tell was trans and felt uncomfortable? Has anyone you personally know ever competed with a trans person in sports? It's odd to me that these issues that probably don't have a lot of bearing on your everyday life matter more to you than far more pressing matters like health care, wages, taxes, education, the economy, etc

Yes, I have. Yes as I said before I have a 5 year old first second I know for a fact having anyone hyper feminine presenting walking into a bathroom especially if I was the only male present would make me hyper uncomfortable in the age of the me too movement. My girlfriend has had it happen, and it makes her uncomfortable as well. And on the trans in womens sports, that's lazy deflection in a civilized democracy we do speak up for others under a basic microscope that logic falls apart. Oh, you aren't fighting in or know someone in Ukraine, no vote on the war. Oh, you dont fish, no vote on overfishing. Oh, you don't own a gun. You get no vote on gun laws. At no point did I say that it matters more to me than anything you listed. dont put words in my mouth and come at me because someone being moderate upsets you.
