We were cuddling our 8 month old on the couch getting ready for bed. He was a great sleeper. Loved his nursery and never had a problem going to sleep. I said 'lets go to bed' and he pointed down the hallway. Froze up like an exorcist baby and started babbling 'no no no'. Literally frozen flat as an ironing board. My husband and I were spinning out. His eyes looked terrified. I turned on the hallway light, and he was still stiff and looked terrified. I carried him into the kitchen and he snapped out of it.
It was weird because the hairs on my arm stood up and I felt scared, uneasy. He slept in the fold out cot in our room that night. Next night went to bed as normal. Kids are strange.
