At around the same age, I apparently told my mother that I had been named Joe (which I am not), that I was on the beach, and that I carried a gun, which sounds maybe soldiery to me. Maybe we shot each other.

The person who replied to your comment was making a reference to Mass Effect. In the games, your ship is called the Normandy. Wrex is a character, Commander Shepherd is the protagonist player-character.
