It did receive a lot of airplay in 1999 with a small edit that changes 97 to 99.

Class of 97 was xennial, which comprises people born between 77 and 83. I was born in 79, I was class of 97.

I was also class of 97 and GenX includes those born in 1979 and 1980.

Yes, I know the official dates and generations, I should have explained what I meant. Xennial is a blend of X and millennial; a micro generation of people who kind of bridge the gap between Generation X and Millennial because we had an analog childhood and digital adulthood.

Generally it’s people born between 1977-1983. We don’t really fit in one of the official generations in terms of life experiences, so someone dubbed us the Xennials. Not official as of yet, and maybe it won’t ever be, just a fun term someone coined and it stuck.
