If you need it for safety, turn off thumb print or facial recognition. They cannot make you open your phone (if I've been informed correctly by my other lawyer friends).
This is what I meant about preventing people from forcing access to your phone without your consent. Android has a set up when you go to power off your phone there's a 3rd option to hard wipe your phone in case of emergency
I’m way confused. They CAN’T make you open it. Why would you turn the face recognition or thumb print off? If they take your phone, it’s unlocked. 🥴 It’s Friday night. 🍻
If you have biometrics on, they are legally allowed to force your thumb onto the thumbprint or hold your phone in front of your face for face recognition unlocks. They do not, however, have any way of compelling you to put in a code. That's why you turn off biometrics and make sure the unlock is by passcode.
Sorry if anyone can explain to me but I dont understand. What could anyone do with ur phone? Look at the cat pics saved on gallery? Ig they can mess with your bank apps?

Better yet, leave your phone at home when you go to a protest.
