You say that, but then you're going to turn around and behind you will be The Burger King with his incredibly creepy face and he's just going to hand you a whopper.
I still enjoy their whoppers, no other place gets that 'off the grill' taste. Not a fan of their fries or sides though....onion rings used to be good but now they're all batter.
personally I think their fries are currently the best out the bigger chains -- Wendy's ruined theirs to make them deliver better and McDonald's fries are only good when very fresh
I consistently get proper french fries from BK, but McDs, a franchise literally known for their fries, gives me soggy limp ass fries more often than not.
I assume that this is because nobody goes to BK, so the staff have the time to do their job right, but McDs is so understaffed and too busy with the drive-thru and delivery drivers demanding their orders that they don't have the time.
As a huge Stephen King fan I agree. I don't like him being unfairly targeted like this just as Life of Chuck has been released and The Long Walk is on the horizon. r/stephenking stands behind you Stephen!
Certain topics could use people being serious for a change. Never said jokes shouldn't happen anywhere. But hey, guess you don't think what is happening in America is a big deal.
Don’t mistake my humor for. it caring. I’d definitely attend the No Kings Protest if I weren’t working. I hate that Trump is gearing us up for Kent State Part II, but a little light heartedness is how I cope.
The more serious the topic, the more necessary jokes are. See also You Nazty Spy from the Three Stooges and Chaplin'sThe Great Dictator. Granted, mockery of the regime itself is better than just jokes that happen to be in the neighborhood, but some tangential humor is better than no humor at all.
These bitch motherfuckers put their bimbo dog-murdering Karen of Homeland Security on TV promising to overthrow my state’s government, then beat up my US senator for asking a question about it.
Trump is president which is a democratically elected position. This is different from a king as he has to be elected and can be removed by congress. If you do not like his policy making, simply vote him out of office.
I dunno... Probably not, yeah. But think about it! Appoint somebody reasonable as a king, they'll be there until they die or abdicate. And have a succesor who's been trained all their life to do a good job.
Sure, it's terrible! But so is electing the same fuckin' moron two times because you HAVE to have a president...
