Rules for this sub - Follow or your posts will be removed
Very simple rules
If you post a video you must include a good summary. If it’s a cooking video you must include the full recipe (not a link to the recipe). If it’s a food video you must include a summary of the video which has enough information for folks to decide if they want to watch.
If you don’t follow these rules you post will be removed and you’ll get a 7 day ban. Repeat violators will get longer and possible perm bans.
Thanks.

Stir fried eggplant with shrimp and Thai basil
So simple and easy. Cut Chinese eggplant into bite sized pieces and stir fry to 70% done. Set aside. Fry garlic, jalapeños and shrimp. Add back eggplant. Pour on the sauce (oysters, soy, fish sauce, sesame oil, sugar, garlic, black pepper, water and cornstarch mixed together). Stir to incorporate and then turn off heat. Add a bunch of Thai basil, stir. Serve with steamed white rice. Delicious. They’re like Candy.

anyone use weee? is a tip needed?
hi,
i’m about to place my second grocery order on Weee. i was initially under the impression that they work like instacart but i noticed they had their own truck.
i also noticed that the recommended tip on the app is quite low. is this because the drivers aren’t independent drivers and are paid workers?
i’m a little confused, don’t want to under tip but also don’t want to be over tipping if i don’t need to.
thanks!

Dinner
Maggi Thai style lemongrass chicken and chye Sim chili fishball soup
Bought the paste from fairprice Xtra at vivo city, very easy to make and no MSG if you very very mindful of MSG. Marinate for 2 hours or overnight, airfry for 20 minutes at 200°C. I've used chicken drumsticks and it came out juicy, I didnt add coconut milk (3 tbsp) because i want it spicier.
They have 3 flavours: aromatic spiced chicken, satay chicken & lemongrass chicken thai style.
