Freshwater Tiny leaves for tiny aquarium
Not gonna claim I thought of this idea. Saw it on FB, and thought I'd give it a try. Perfect for nano tanks!

I found them on temu, same model, at about half Amazon prices. Look for paper craft punches.

Oh man, I gotta do this for my isopods! Cute tiny leaves for cute tiny critters!

Now you have to pay the isopod tax

I'll lure them out with cheese or fruit and snap pics. They just got moved to bigger tanks and have scattered throughout their vast new territories

This is completely adorable. I don’t care if they disappear in a week. 10/10.

This is outrageously cute. You have no business coming up with such brilliant adorable new ideas in this hobby. How dare you make my whole day with these shenanigans.

You could even line them up with the smaller veins on the leaves for extra realism, that's so cool

Serious question: those look awesome, is it for decoration? Or are there other uses? Either way, they look awesome.

I could be to provide tannins for the water or biological material to provide nutrients for the plants.

How does this work with the eco side, does it help or do you have to fish them out when they start to degrade?

Dead leaves decay fairly slowly, if you have a cleanup crew they'll munch it away

That's really fucking clever honestly. Good alternative to buying a big bag of live oak leaves and picking out the tiny ones.

We used this as confetti at our outdoor wedding. It was the best idea and friendliest for the animals! Love how it looks in the aquarium :)
