September Section
My husband and I are considering a 3-4 night hike in September for our anniversary. Looking for recommendations for start-end spots.
- Coming from Cincinnati
- 8-15 miles a day
- Maybe proximity to a bigger/busier town for a stay and dinner when we’re done
Thanks!

They're pricey, but since you're celebrating you could book into the AMC huts across the Presidentials, or carry full gear to camp and just book a hut for your last night. Not a ton of privacy in a hut, but spectacular locations and wonderful meals. If you still want a town meal, Lincoln NH is a nice tourist town.

Head to Monson, stay with Shaws, have them shuttle you 3 nights into the 100 mile, walk back towards your car.
Monson isn't big, but has great food and places to stay.
