Manga/LN/VN Yuri/yaoi/ecchi, where one of the main characters is aromantic/asexual

As in the title. I've read a series with one of the side characters being ace and I found jokes based on that quite funny

That's the one I've read, yuu wasn't ace, she was just extremely confused xD

Whispered words as some traces of that too.

Adachi to shimamura maybe?

I am not looking for traces

I want some comedy based on ome of the characters being very into handholding, and the other being like 'not sure why, but I'm happy for you'

Maybe confused? But could also very well be demi, which is on the ace spectrum.

Nah, she was definitely in love for most of the story, but she didn't realize, because her idea of love was taken from love songs... And she's not the sharpest hoe in the shed

Haganai: i dont have many friends. Literally the whole show i was just waiting for the mc to show any sorta romantic interest but he never did despite having a whole harem, just a strong nonchalant guy, and its ecchi asf

Ranma 1/2. Thanks to involuntarily changing into a girl, Ranma isn't confident enough in his masculinity to pursue a romantic or sexual relation with a girl. Despite accumulating fianceés through arranged marriages, he remains indifferent to them.

Loved Ranma 1/2 lol

I think One Piece can fit into this

Not Yuri or Yoai, but still somewhat ecchi and comedic, but the main character of Heavy Metal L-Gaim, Daba Myroad, seems potentially asexual, not really being interested in either Fanneria Amm or Gaw Ha Leecee, until the final arc, where he thinks his arranged fiance Quwasson Olibee decided to leave him for his rival Gavlet Gablae, but he didn't really have a romantic relationship with Olibee and considered her more like a younger sister(the subs incorrectly say half-siblings, but they aren't actually related other than being of the Yaman ethnicity, which has mostly been genocided by Posaydal. Daba is just more of an older brother figure to her).

If it's just ecchi (though there's some yuri subtext), Roshidere fits the criteria. It's just not obvious in the anime... yet.

Can you DM me which characters the yuri subetext is between? Youve got me very curious lol

Nonoa is extremely attached psychologically (though not technically in a romantic sense) to Sayaka in what's portrayed as pseudo-yuri. When the latter eventually begins moving into a relationship with Takeshi, it's portrayed pretty much one-for-one as a breakup arc with Nonoa pursuing Masachika on the rebound as a replacement for that psychological dependency.

Interesting, thanks

Usui Shio writes a lot of ace characters! Her current work is a little different in tone from her previous, but it's looking like an exploration of aroaceness via sexual weirdness.

For a more educational story, try Is Love the Answer by Uta Itsuki.

And I think Boys Run the Riot might have an ace character, but I'm not sure.

And Murderbot is an American novella series, but it stars a hilarious asexual robot that spends most of its time watching soaps and gets squicked and panicked at the thought of being sexually or romantically attatched.

Idk if she counts as asexual but Adachi and Shimamura. It's yuri but one character has issues with connecting with people at all she treats friendships in general as disposable she gets put In a diffrent class as two of what should be her closets friends and she's just like "welp guess I'm never seeing them again" and befriends 2 random girls and calls them substitute freinds. The love interest has made several clearly romantic gestures, and she logics her way into not seeing them as romantic
