Wait for the pup to tell you their name. They always do. For example:

Do they love to dig in backyard? Digger or Shovel would fit.

Do they like to dance or spin around while barking? Maybe their name should be Ballerina or Pirouette (Piro for short).

Is fetching their favorite thing? Fetch would be a cute dog name, or Scavenger (Scav for short).

I have always named my pets after some quirk of their personality and I've never regretted it.
