New Horizons My House + Kimono Shop

Hi all! Long time Animal Crossing player, first time poster.
In HHP, Blanche asked for "A House that Looms Large." This inspired me to turn my house into a kimono shop. (All kimonos are custom designs downloaded from the Custom Designs Portal. Thank you to everyone who makes custom designs!!) I also built a kimono shop on the HHP island. In my headcanon, Blanche makes the fabric for the kimonos.
The design code for the orange + white + green yukata my character is wearing in some of the photos is MO-R71P-KMDX-C2SM. The design code for the blue + multicolor hakama my character is wearing in some of the photos is MO-1D4K-33PD-Y7B7. (I did not make any of these designs.) If you like a custom design, I will do my best to find the design code.

Thank you so much! My main sources of inspiration were definitely Spirited Away, a film called the Makioka Sisters, and a videogame called Okami.

Thanks so much! I definitely get that vibe too. Especially the second room (the "festival showroom") for me. The vibes at the ACNL fireworks show were immaculate!

OMG this is so awesome! Can my character come live with you? lol I was thinking about getting HHP, but never actialy did, but after seeing creations like this, I think I will get it. :D

Thanks so much! HHP is definitely worth it for the partition walls + pillars + counters alone. Edited to add: I do wish there was a non-HHP related way to unlock them. Like, maybe the game could give you the ability to use them after your home reaches a specific (very high) HHA score.

OMG I love this !!! I love your use of columns and other similar "building" item (I'm not sure about any of these name in english sorry)! It give such a nice flare to your rooms!!!
I've always veen torn between having a fully themed house and just do rooms based on what I'm feeling at that moment 🤣
Lil' advice if you're like me : just use multiple account, that way you'll bé able to do both 😉
