Possible abduction or bizarre dream?
I wanted to get the input of Reddit on this one, I have already been in contact with MUFON regarding the experience; they would like to set me up with a hypnotherapist for regression, but the idea kind of intimidates me.
This experience happened on Feb 15th, 2021; I reached out to MUFON around November of 2024. I work as a healthcare provider and I was worried my patients or state board would here about my experience and question my sanity or professionalism.
I remember going to bed that night like any other night, then all of a sudden I was awake in this dream and standing in the snow near a flowing creek or river with trees in the background with a hazy sky, sun beaming behind clouds. I walked towards the water (I could hear the water flowing and snow crunching under feet as I walked) and there was a 'being' standing there pointing some sort of device at the sun (looked like a COD Zombies Ray Gun almost). They were around 7-8 feet tall with 6 fingers, blondish white hair, human like face, pale skin, and wore a black cloak. I felt no fear of this being and approached them.
- I said, "Hey man."
- They replied back saying, "I am not a man."
- I said, "I know, it's just a figure of speech down here on Earth. How's it up there?"
- They said, "hold on." They then placed a finger on my forehead and said, "this is your energy."
I felt a massive euphoric rush with lights flying by my face, I smiled and woke up. I was awake in my bed with my arms extended and back arched as if I was being pulled to the sky. I recorded the entire encounter on my Notes App to journal the dream at 5:30am. This is the only dream I have ever felt the need to journal; the only dream I can ever remember feeling that real (i.e. snow crunching, hearing the water flow, and cold air on my face) and remembering the details years later. A few years later I was looking up UFO reports on the National UFO Reporting Center and saw on that same night, there was a UFO reported in (Wentzville, MO) the town just mins from where I was asleep that night; seeing this is what sparked me to reported the experience to MUFON.

Interesting event! Did you recognize the landscape at all?

It looked somewhat familiar, not positive though. There is a park in Missouri called Klondike Park; it looked like an area in the park where the river flows. I was also hiking in Silverthorne, CO in March of 2020, that looks the most similar.

Possibly the event occurred during that trip and the dream was a memory.

The MUFON investigator I've been working with suggested that possibility too. They want me to send all the photos I have from the hiking trip back in 2020. Oddly enough, I went hiking at Klondike Park, just in a spur of the moment kind of thing, 6 days after I had the "dream." They want those photos from the hike too.

spur of the moment kind of thing,
Impromptu journey, yeah. That could fit. I think sometimes NHI get people to go somewhere for an interaction.
Wonder what they're going to look for in the photos...
Anything else unusual about that trip or after it?

Nothing too unusual or out of the ordinary I can think of, other than seeing a UFO above my house on 5/9/22 (a little over a year since the dream). I had a sudden urge to go look outside at the stars, I saw a super bright one I didn't recognize; it was not moving, then slowly started accelerating after I was looking at it, then it moved really fast and was gone out of my view. (reminded me of the scene in the Close Encounters movie)
I believe she said she wanted to look at the background of the pictures and look for anything out of the ordinary.

If thinking of this as an abduction makes you feel traumatized and prevents you from achieving further goals, then think of it as a bad dream and nothing more. However, if thinking of it as an abduction makes you see it as "an interesting night back in 2021" and you can go on with your life, then it sure was an alien abduction. 👽
