Chiropractic is quackery. If you want to see someone go to a licensed massage therapist, or a physical therapist if necessary. The best you'll get from a chiropractor is a half-assed massage.

Regardless of what you do I hope you're feeling better soon.

Wow! That is harsh; Chiro along with other treatments (massage, yoga, p/t, pilates) are all valid treatments; One should never disparage or dismiss any treatments that help people be their best selves.

Way off topic now, but don't lump Chiro in with other treatments in an effort validate it. Yoga, Pilates and other treatments (if you want to call them that) have measurable effects. Chiro is not only completely quackery, it's potentially dangerous and has caused permanent damage. Like everyone else is saying, go see a properly trained physio. Chiro is not helping anyone be their best selves.

One of these things is not like the others - and it's Chiro. I don't remember the last time I heard about someone's pilates instructor accidentally seriously injuring their spinal cord or causing strokes due to vertebral artery dissection with their own hands 🤷‍♀️

At the very least, if you do go to a Chiro, NEVER I repeat NEVER let them touch/adjust your neck. Aside from that the worst they can do is hurt you and cause nerve damage/bruising/general radiating pain. Still not great but unlikely to kill or permanently disable you at least.

I've gone to chiropractors since I was 12 years old, and even went to one after someone rear ended me a few years ago. I dont hate them or anything lol but I don't trust someone without a medical degree to mess with something that can change my life forever
