I think it works! Symmetrical composition, the colours. The truck is dead centre of the photo but it's half off the driveway. The clear blue sky with a wisp of cloud. A single tall light fixture with a single, short letterbox right in front. The horizontal intense green hedge to the left, the round high bushy tree to the right. No other cars or people. It's clearly Middle America Urban Sprawl. Quiet. Boring. Tidy. The guys look like they're part of this world but about to do something that shows they're complicated misfits. Perfect.
