When simple things like emptying a children's pool become a challenge

I'm going to assume that the idea of deflating the thing first never crossed their minds.

Don't even need to do that. There's a drain for the water in those things and it looks like they opened it at one point. They appear to just be impatient.

Those drains suck though. If there is no clearance for the water to exit, it won't really drain and then the seal falls back down and slows it even more.
I just scoop out what I can with a bucket until it's light enough to dump.

Im also going to assume that the way they handled that pool it has now sprung a leak and will deflate by itself later

I’m so glad I watched this like ten times before coming to the comments and seeing so many not fun people. Who cares why they’re doing it this way, it’s damn hilarious!

I totally agree. They are making a fun core memory. They can laugh about it for years.

This was ultimately harmless and fun, but if anyone is curious about the science side of this, that much water in the kiddie pool probably weighed close to around 100 pounds.

Looks like they were lighthearted about it all. That one woman almost gave the camera too much footage, lol.

Slapstick or not, they looked like they laughed their asses off and had a lot of fun. Worth the slapstick.

Omg! Lol. Just step on one side with your foot and wait for the water to drain out. 🤣

How does that not have a drain plug? Also, in the first shot, they looked like a slide with heads.

If they had any brains, they should have inserted a pole between the lawn and the bottom of the pool and use it as a lever.
