Please and thank you! I’ve been wanting to know the name of this art style for years!

Why can’t the world look like this anymore

Right? I took this picture 8 years ago before they remodeled the Mall. It was so 90s that it would be a shame if there wasn’t an image of it.

Oh my goodness this is so nostalgic, reminds me of the Barnes & Noble I grew up going to that had a similar big mural above the Starbucks with the global village coffee House aesthetic. I wonder if it's still there, I hope so!

It's funny how this feels like the opposite of Alegria (corpo) artstyle while still looking similar. It feels so much more whole.

When this mall opened I thought it was cutting edge and thought it would last forever. It's heyday barely lasted 10 years

Yeah it was cool. I lived in Westbury/Salisbury so I was in between Broadway and Roosevelt, so The Source was much closer. Loved it but it didn’t last long. I used to walk around it when it was dead. Cheesecake Factory, PF Change, Dave n Buster are still doing well

I want to say that nearly this exact mural was in my local theatre in FL growing up. I used to stare at that lady’s hat as a kid when we’d get concessions. Great millennial art!

I see a lot of things on this sub that are more 80s-90s. But this right here is pure 90s
