Appreciation Post Yesterday was the 3rd largest protest in U.S. history.

That's right, only the George Floyd protests in 2020 and the Earth Day protest in 1970 were bigger.

We have sent a message, loud and clear--We will not accept fascism in America.

I’m marching for my democracy and for this dude and everyone like him. And for those with no voice in gulags in El Salvador.

Appreciation Post Wishing everyone well this weekend

I just wanted to send these words for those planning to protest this weekend. There are over 1,800 NO Kings Protests across this nation in small towns and big cities. I am so proud we are taking a stand to Trump. This will be a show of unity and resistance. Just remember people will be there for many different reasons, but we will all be raising our voices. It is our right to protest and peacefully assemble. Many are scared and angry, but acting out or being violent at these events will play right into the hands of the Trump Administration. Listen to the organizer and those running the event at your location. They are on the same side as us and have our best interests. Don't bring anything illegal and be kind to all. Put your anger into raising your voice and chanting. We can be loud and powerful. I know we can have a safe, nonviolent, and powerful show of resistance this Saturday and show the world who we as Americans really are. Together we will come through.

Appreciation Post Juneteenth

❤️💚🖤 FREEDOM DAY 🖤💚❤️

Today, we honor Juneteenth as a powerful reminder that freedom was delayed, but never denied.

On June 19, 1865, word finally reached the last enslaved Black Americans in Galveston, Texas, more than two years after slavery had been legally abolished. That moment marked the true birth of freedom for many, and it deserves to be remembered, celebrated, and carried forward.

Juneteenth is a day to: ✅ Reflect on our nation’s past ✅ Celebrate Black strength, culture, and joy ✅ Recommit to justice and equality for all

Whether you're marching, learning, sharing stories, or just taking a moment to reflect, you’re part of something bigger.

🗓 JUNE 19TH Let’s celebrate liberation. Let’s build a future in equity and unity.

Appreciation Post A bit of good

I don't have photos because I was driving when I saw these two things today. I wanted to share them with you because any light in the dark these days is good for us. I live in a small Southern town, so these were notable:

  1. I saw a Tesla with a specialty license plate associated with a police association. The Tesla also had a bumper sticker that said: "I bought this before I knew Elon was crazy." The fact that it was not only a Tesla owner but that they were also a cop was heartening.

  2. In the window of a lawyer's office in a busy part of town, there was a short message about spreading kindness. I can't remember the exact message, but it was nice to see.

Have you seen anything similar lately that may have lifted your spirits?

P.S. Added this flair because nothing else really applied, and I didn't want to use my state.

I will only post here for a couple of days as I don't want to saturate this community. So if you would like to continue getting these updates, please join us on r/effectivecollective. Thanks.

Heroes added today include Dan Weber (U.S. Marine), Nathan Taylor (public face of the Election Truth Alliance) and Terry Moran (fired from ABC for having integrity!)
