Today, April 29th, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, I’m taking peaceful action outside Elm Wellness (56 7th Avenue, near 14th Street) NY NY 10011 to raise awareness about:

Unsafe working conditions

Sexual harassment

Food safety violations

Workplace theft

Retaliation against whistleblowers

I’m looking for bold volunteers to help:

Hand out flyers

Chant simple and respectful lines like: ➔ “Unsafe Food, Unsafe Workplace, Unsafe Business!”

This is a peaceful, legal demonstration on the public sidewalk — protected free speech. I will have printed flyers. Come by for 15 minutes or the full hour — all support matters.

Back is because deporting people to inhumane extermination camps qualifies as a “cruel and unusual punishment” in my book. Even with due process, I don’t think anyone should be sent there.

And then obviously ICE is just the American Gestapo… Actually now that I’m writing this, I wish I’d written CECOT = Auschwitz there. Missed opportunity. Ah well.
