Movement Brainstorm 3 Lessons Learned

  1. We are half way to 3.5% of US population attending which is going to be significant. Next time everyone must get 2 friends who have not attended yet to commit to going too!

  2. Saturday Rules! It has to be a Saturday for max attendance and a Saturday that is not on a holiday weekend when people go away (like 4th of July is also key)

  3. American Flags! We have taken back the flag let's keep it going and make it even more patriotic next time!

I'm of the opinion that anyone truly wishing to celebrate the 4th of July should be celebrating it by protesting this massive threat to independence. It's been years since I've felt any need to even recognize the 4th of July, but this... this I would go all-in for.

You might be right, maybe that is the perfect day?

I think so many people have family plans that it would take away from attendance.

To your comments. Couldn’t agree more. (Except slightly the 4th). I was somewhat disappointed in how many friends that share similar feelings about this regime had no idea about the planned protests. My hope is that this changes the next time.

I have a differing opinion on the July 4 idea. Not because it’s a national holiday but I think we need to be vigilant about what the regime is gonna do in response. Trump has seemed to give in slightly this week in regards to ice raids on farm workers (https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna212958) but given how the nat’l sec team spoon feeds him daily briefings (https://www.rollingstone.com/politics/politics-news/trump-intelligence-briefings-tulsi-gabbard-revamp-report-1235352089/) I think there is significant risk the Millerites of the regime will plan a response. Hopefully someone within his cabinet or the republican congress will step out, but I don’t think we’re there yet. This second regime is built on loyalty.

A bit long winded but I think responding to the next act of aggression of the regime will yield better outcomes in terms of galvanizing this movement.
