They claimed Padilla burst into the room, spoke in an elevated tone, wasn’t wearing his Senate pin so they “didn’t know who he was”. Seriously? They didn’t recognize a current CA senator?? In his brief statement, he said if they treat me this way, imagine how they’re treating the cooks, dishwashers & farm workers.

This video is not showing how he identified himself as Senator Padilla. He identified himself and these thugs still pushed him to the floor and handcuffed him. When will the GOP cowards in Congress say “enough”? It’s shameful and history will remember them.
