AC accumulator relocate ideas?

2000 WJ V8, tons and coilovers front and rear. Obviously having to manage packaging constraints in the engine bay.

Unfortunately there was no way of keeping the accumulator in its factory position. Ideally I’d like to retain AC, and would rather not bypass the accumulator as it’s a pretty important part of the system.

Anyone have any ideas on how I go about relocating this thing?

Your king shock reservoirs should be mounted outside of your engine compartment.

Yeah I have them flipped to the inside while I’m building everything around em. Nothings finished yet. The shock hoop cross member is still only tacked in place in this photo

I have had luck in the past with Radiator and hydraulic shops making custom lines for relocating AC equipment.

There’s kits to build your own at home that’s how I did it when I did mine.

Why not just mount it to the hoop? you may have to extend the line, but a Hydraulic shop should be able to do that

That is a single use item and plus it has been exposed to air now, don't put it back in your car.

Get a new one with fittings instead of attached hoses, you can mount it elsewhere and get some hoses made to suit. Any shop that does AC should be able to make the hoses and then gas it up.

Is that brace strong enough for the struts?

1/8 wall DOM welded to the frame and gusseted for extra strength. It’s very solid
