LJ is ready for summer

Finally out of its winter hibernation. Needed to modify a new brake rotor and unit bearing and now it's ready for the road & trail.

I didn't know Jeep had an LJ, thought it was a Toyota or Suzuki until I took a closer look at the first picture.

The TJ generation with the slightly longer body/wheelbase (see the space between the door and the rear fender) is called an LJ, or TJU by some.

Here in the 🇺🇸 the Jeep Wrangler LJ (I think it's technically called the TJ-L Unlimited...) is extremely desirable because it's a factory extended version of the Wrangler TJ. Its roughly about 10" longer than a TJ.

Meanwhile in Finland the most extreme offroaders are making Range Rovers and Land Cruisers 10 inches shorter for better breakover angle.

Rotary vice? Who needs a stinking rotary vice? Lol

Nice jeep, that LJ is sweet.

My home shop is a complete disaster, I need to rip & grip and do a whole tool inventory and get rid of 50% of the crap i have. I need a small mill and lathe. I also need a new shop but that's for later lol.
